My Desktop Image in progress

These are the four designs I completed for my tak of creating a suitable Desktop for Shipley College. From the four designs below I was to choose a design idea.

From my designs above I chose image 1. Image 1 consisted of the students and futuristic background.Transforming my design into colour.

Here's how my desktop background, I think it looks quite cool.

Here I have created a Desktop Background with a slight hint of a futuristic Sci-Fi look. This desktop image has a space like stmosprheric affect which makes it look modern. I used a student that was sketched, added colour to it and incorporated it into my design. I used two statements from the student charter and placed them at the bottom of my screen for the simple reason of it not interfering with my desktop icons.
I payed attention to the use of colours and lighting effects to enhance the overall sharpness and look of my image. The student has the Shipley College Logo on his t-shirt because its more intresting and unique rather than having in the corner which would ruin the images layout. The Backgrounds dark so that the icons appear more visible and the student standout and attracts the eye towards the bottom which will get my statements more noticed.
I looked at my Target audience and this Desktop Image should appeal to Male & Females alike.
There's no violent material or images or any hint of agression in this image as this is a fun, exciting and inspiring desktop background for Shipley College.
