My Ideal Genre For A Team Trailer

My teams agreed upon an Atmospheric, In Depth Colours (Shades and Tones of Dark and Light Colours), Horror Survival Style. I think one game that comes to mind, especially after group discussion, Bioshock stands out with and that the environments and challenges demanded those weapons and powers. So there are a ton of interior spaces in the game that will feel like a traditional BioShock spaces, very intimate and quite colourful. But we also focused on spaces that are quite different from what you usually see in a BioShock game: huge, open, outdoor spaces with broad ranges. Our take on our team trailer would be based on a ruined city half flooded so there would be elements of the game set underwater while other sections woud be set on land. Ultimately we would think to have this would give the game/trailer a dark, atmospheric, alien-like, eerie and have a lonely feel. The colour pallete we have in mind for the environments would most likely be dark colours, also for certain feature like gore, an essential colour pallete to represent blood and eaten flesh perhaps. Bioshock is a great example of the environments we strive to achieve. The lighting and water effects are detailed and colourful. The visual effects of Bioshocks main character is iconic and is easily recognised, everyone knows that "big daddy" is apart of the video game Bioshock.
During the trailer itself, the camera movements would appear cinematic in how it moves thorugh the environment giving it a cinematic style. The idea behind having a Horror theme is important reseach because when it comes to environments it is vital to make the environment lhave realistic effect.

This character is a great example of an underworld sea monster as it large in size and has a gas mask for it to breathe under water. It looks very detailed and quite frightning. I think my team is focusing more towards a Zombie like monster that is preferably a female as male characters are overated in my opinion.
