Team Logo Development

As a set task in my team i started to create and find a creative and interesting design for our team logo and then further develop it. Starting with a simple sketch i was able to scan it into Photoshop and enhance the colours and details to my desired intentions.

Here are 2 examples for my Teams Logo. I decided to use the penguin and the radio active hazard theme as a backdrop to give a cool hazardous effect. The colour scheme of both logo's are slighlty different. The top Penguin has a Black colour theme which I think suits a penguin best as it is its natural colour. The 2nd Logo has a more cartoonistic look with a orange and tango look, however it look more like a zombie chicken. So overall I think the black and white Penguin Logo is probably my best choice. I have used the teams concept sketches and in this case, scanned them into Photoshop and decided to use one particular penguin sketch to use in my rendition of our team logo, incorporating the initials of "Radioactive Zombie Penguins" and the important penguin. I altered the colours around to give me the best possible option as to which logo suits our team the best.

This is Harrison's Logo. I think the logo has all the right colours to easily identify the key features like the hazardous symbol for his background and also for the penguin. The red zombie styled font also works well against the yellows and blacks. The eye area also looks very realistic and quite cartoony. If I was intending to change something I would maybe add a bite mark to the penguins head to give it a more of a zombie appeal.
